I am writing a research paper on this topic and I was just wondering how important people think kindergarten is. There are states that require kindergarten but in other states it is optional. For example, in New York kindergarten is optional.
If kindergarten was really that important, they would of make it required in all areas.
What ever the first "formal" school setting experience is, that’s the most important. It sets the foundation for learning. No matter how good the roof is, if the foundation is not good, the whole house might collapse.
